Who we are
The Nordic Cello Duo, consisting of the renowned cellists and married couple Sofie Spanget Takkula from Denmark and Heikki Takkula from Finland, has created a unique musical symbiosis since their meeting at the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, which has thrilled audiences in both Denmark and Finland. With their deeply moving expressions and beautiful timbres, they manage to captivate every listener. The duo will soon return to Denmark, where they will continue to share their musical passion and give concerts that are guaranteed to enrich the Danish music landscape.
